Okay testing the Dreamwidth crossposting features. If this works I may just move over entirely. I'm really liking this.

Also of note, they don't seem to be generating invite codes just yet. I just bought a paid account. >.>

What are advantages to Dreamwidth?

The only one that I saw was that LJ's "friend" feature has been split into people-you-read and people-who-get-to-read-personal messages.

The engine "plays well" with other sites, using OpenID to allow users from other sites to be watched, friended, even allowed to comment and gain access to protected entries. There's a strict no-ads rule in effect. A lot of other little things are modernized as well.

Huh. This is interesting. How does crossposting handle comments? Do they get updated together?
