Well we've been hyping this for the last few months, so its time to let you all see what we've been working on.

Furspots! A place to find and manage your identities in the fandom! Most all of us have done it. Created multiple characters. Maybe its different fursuits you own, or role-playing personalities, or characters in a story world of your creation. Perhaps you're an artist with different pen-names to keep your family-friendly works separate from your more risque ones.

Furspots gives you the option of managing the details of these characters without the hassle of creating an account for each, while retaining as much, or as little privacy about the owners as you like. From simple profiles and information and blogs, to the ability to use OpenID from each to log into the many sites out on the net that support such, as any character you like. Custom relationship trees, multiple profile images, multiple user icons (per character), friends groups, branching out into community organization and map based event planning. This is just the start of Furspots.

Soon, a complex messaging system will allow you to keep in touch with other users, while notifying you of events in your area, or new items that have been posted to a variety of sites who've partnered with us. One central location to manage your fandom presence.

Currently, the site remains in Alpha, and membership is gained by the use of an Invite Code. Viewing the site is open to all, and codes can be requested from any admin. While the base site is up and running, bugs are still being worked out, and features coded.

Once we are happy with the stability, we will open for Beta, at which point membership will likely be opened to any users. This process will take as long as is necessary to give a quality experience.

So if you're interested in becoming an Alpha tester, leave a comment below, and we'll send you an Invite Code! Feel free to bang on the site. Try things. Attempt to break it. Use the Feedback Form if you see anything that needs attention.

Feedback is of course welcome from everyone, Alpha tester or not. Discussion on features, UI, and even administration and site rules are welcome.
