Amazon one-ups iTunes

So I know a lot of folks on my flist like to pay for their music, so I thought I'd share this. Amazon has started a beta for their music download site. 256k VBR mp3 downloads, DRM-free, and cheaper than iTunes for most stuff.

This is actually pretty cool. I do like to pay for the music I like enough to have in my collection but really get irked at somebody forcing DRM on me that limits my ability to use the music I pay in the (legal) ways that I chose. So this is cool.

So cool is it that I just bought three albums (at a comparable price to used CDs!) to show my support for this sort of goodness.
