Hey, me too. I only got my mac laptop in 2004 or so, but have been using linux on the desktop since 1992, too. I think I started with SLS 1.03.. :>

Were the install scripts broken for you too? I had to untar every disk by hand..

It wasn't broken that I remember, but there were definitely two broken packages on my floppies.

Ah, installing Linux from floppies. Those were the days.

Oh my god. You're mad... mad I tell you. It will install easy, run everything faster and better than your old OS. It will be more stable, except for that one annoying glitch you just can't quite figure out. Something simple, which will just play at the back of your mind until all you can think about are the penguins... marching... marching onward and onward... they just don't stop... save me... save me now!
