Yeah, whatever schmuck decided that overwriting sources.list was a good idea for a non-critical Linux app needs a good bludgeoning with a rabid penguin.
the 1.0 version prefers Ubuntu 6.10, other than that I had some trouble with other versions. The install scripts are pretty lame and error out if things are too different.
Though, once running it does okay, though I'm still not 100% impressed with it. I have been wrestling with it and drivers to get TV out working properly. For some reason once run it uses some network bandwidth to the net constantly it seems.
I figure if someone who could clean up a lot of things in it, it could be kind of nice. A good idea in concept, just needs more work.
Maybe I'll go give myth a try later, been trying to get a DVR computer put together...
