I do find it heartening that at least someone in the US seems to be saying something against these new laws. I do find it interesting that Bush has effectively done away for the Geneva Convention. I am curious what would happen if another country, lets say Afganistan for arguement's sake held US citizens under the same guidelines as what have just been signed.
For some reason, Bush is reminding me of the power hungry dictator desperately changing laws to suit their own needs so they can sit in their ivory tower with their eyes shut and go "I'm in my happy place"
I love his rants because he likes to point out parts in history where things like this happen before. How much are we willing to lose before they come start knockin on our doors?
