So I've had a lot of thinking, and I'm questioning the usefulness of Yiffit as a site. Is there a need, or a niche the site can fill as Artspots does? Or is it just unnecessary redundancy in relation to the various other sites out there?

To answer that question, I give a poll! Please answer honestly. Results are anonymous. I've tried to give a bit more than just yes and no.

[Poll #1244355]

And no, I'm not just gonna shut down the site, take my ball and go home. =P I'd just like to give some serious thought as to the direction of the site, and get input from folks.

I don't know a whole lot about adult art and what people want to see, but it seems to me a site that promotes good adult art would be worth hanging onto.

I like Yiffit, but there isn't enough of a population to make participation very worthwhile. I will continue to support it for as long as it's up, though.

FAP is good, but its problem is the combination of filters and user tagging. While really awesome when done properly, but everyone has different ideas of how tagging should be done -- like, is it muscle or muscles? Pregnant or pregnancy? And some people just say "fuck tags" and don't even bother. That, and there is no "good art" filter, so you end up having to block out a bunch of artists that just don't draw well... which, with enough pickiness and dedication, creates a very huge filter that could just be solved with an on/off... and that's the greatest argument of Yiffit/AS. You don't have to waste time filtering every artist you don't want to see.
