inakiSoo.. I rant a lot about FA.. And I've come to realize WHY I do that. Its because I'm not happy with the status quo. I think a website with so many resources, if directed properly, can do so much better. The fandom deserves better creative outlets.
I've been a dick to the admins over how the site is run, and I've come to realize that there's at least two of them that don't deserve it. I'll make judgments on the others later, but for now, the reason the site even runs on its horrid code is because of Yak and Preyfar. I've gotten a chance to talk with Preyfar, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that all the things that bugged me about FA bug him as well. His desires for how servers should be set up match my own. His desired to expand the site, and push for quality over quantity match my own.
Yes FA sucks. But there's a reason it sucks, and its a reason we agree on. And more importantly, its fixable.
So consider this a public truce. Preyfar, sorry I didn't talk to you sooner dude.
