New Camera

So I'm looking at buying a camera from my boss.. Its a Panasonic DMC-FZ10PP-K and has a UV lense added.. I took some test pics, and after some tuning, I think they look alright..

He's asking $400 for it.. I think I'm going to offer him $300.. What do folks think?
