Soo question for my friends list.. How many folks here know or want to learn Ruby on Rails 2/3, and would be interested in working on an open source project? >.> No commitments yet, just trying to get a feel for how many folks would be interested.

This is mostly an excuse to get me to learn Rails while I'm at it. >.>

Tootally worth the $10.. going again tomorrow I think..

Violent though. Most movies nose their way into an R rating. This one is rather firmly in that range, nosing at NC17.

So I finally broke down and bought an internal HD-DVD/BluRay/DVDRW combo drive for the media PC.

Best purchase ever. $110 and I can play any disk content.. I can already play any streaming content, and I got a legit copy of PowerDVD so I can do hardware decoding of HD movies. Woot!

Also, Watchmen tomorrow afternoon.

The Snow Leopard Trust ( needs your help!

They would like to you to sign up for their eNews and have others sign up as well. For every new subscriber, the Kearsley Fund will donate $2 to the Snow Leopard Trust. Their goal is 3000, but they are NOWHERE CLOSE! However, if we all sign up and post this in our journals, we can help donate up to $6000 for snow leopard conservation!

Visit here for more info!

Please, sign up today and copy this into your journal to spread the word! With just a little bit of effort, we can make a big difference!

The counter on that page is just a graphic by the way and has to be updated manually, so it might take a while until it changes.

In case the sky wasn't blue, I am going to FC! My con info is here (or will be once I unlazy enough to fill it out):

We're also launching that site, Furspots, at the con. It's a furry social networking site focused on character profiles, with lots of event-tracking and con-type features built in too. Check it out, even if you're not going to the con. :)
(I'm copying [ profile] indicoyote here cause as mentioned above, I'm lazy.)
