Okay testing the Dreamwidth crossposting features. If this works I may just move over entirely. I'm really liking this.

What are advantages to Dreamwidth?

The only one that I saw was that LJ's "friend" feature has been split into people-you-read and people-who-get-to-read-personal messages.

The engine "plays well" with other sites, using OpenID to allow users from other sites to be watched, friended, even allowed to comment and gain access to protected entries. There's a strict no-ads rule in effect. A lot of other little things are modernized as well.
